 SHIPPING 

Live animals are only shipped Fed Ex Priority Overnight or UPS Next Day Air. Malama Exotics will check origin and destination temperatures and contact you to schedule a delivery date before shipping any animal(s). We will check temperatures again on the day of delivery.

To ensure the safety of your animal(s):

-Malama Exotics will delay shipment when the origin temperature exceeds 90°F.

-Malama Exotics will delay shipment when the destination temperature exceeds 90°F or the overnight low is less than 30°F

-If the overnight low at the destination is less than 40°F, Malama Exotics requires the animal(s) to be picked up from a staffed Fed Ex hub

-If shipping to a home or businesses, buyer must be present to accept delivery at the first attempt. Failure to comply with this term will void Malama Exotics’ Live Animal Guarantee

-If shipping to a Fed Ex hub, the package must be picked up by noon on the day of delivery. Failure to comply with this term will void Malama Exotics’ Live Animal Guarantee 

Buyer is responsible for delivery costs. Malama Exotics will provide a delivery quote prior to purchase

LIVE ANIMAL GUARANTEE 

We care about every animal leaving our home and take great care to ensure the safety of each one. In the unlikely event that an animal is DOA or arrives in poor condition, the buyer must notify Malama Exotics immediately. An email or text with a photo may be requested for verification so a replacement or refund can be issued.

Buyer is responsible for delivery costs

on replacements/exchanges. 

Malama Exotics is not responsible for any carrier delays. Any significant delay by the carrier will void our Live Arrival Guarantee
